This past weekend I had the greatest opportunity yet, all excess pass to cover the shows at the MBFW in NYC for the summer/spring 2013. It was oozing fashion all week long both in the tents and on the streets of New York City. So come along with me as I take you inside the MBFW/13. My DAY 1 started Saturday morning and to say I was inspired would truly be an understatement, I was fashion revived! A big THANK YOU to both Tee and Joanne for such a great once in a life time experience, I truly appreciated it all > love!
I had the chance to catch about two shows Saturday, the Mara Hoffman show and the Herve Leger show which was just amazing and very different from each other, what a way to kick of my fashion week.
Right after the shows I snagged a little interview with Miss Piggy and Robbie Laughlin for ENEWs “who wore it best” segment which aired last night while I was at the airport, but thanks to my friends who called with such excitement and thanks to my hubby who recording it “cool moment”. You can also check me out on Essence Magazine.com under fashion week >street style.
Mara Hoffman brought out her signature tribal-inspired prints in full effect, I found the both the prints and cuts to be very interesting and flirty but in a fun way, very easy breezy look.
Herve Leger Spring/summer 2013 was no disappointment with his sexy and curvy signature bandage dresses and swimsuits. The colour palate and the very interesting wEaving of the fabric was very ingenious.
